The 15th day of the 4th Month of every year has become remarkable to us all in the last 4years.
Thank you well-wishers, members, our patron, directors, volunteers and sponsors at KOA Education Foundation.
Our numerous achievements in this short while has left all and sundry dancing uncontrollably.
It was not a coincidence that in April 2018, Kafilat Olanike Olanrewaju Akintomiwa identified a major problem that birthed today’s celebration.
She embarked on a journey to bridge the gap between the privileged and the less privileged, to ensure that children at all levels desire and have access to Quality Education.
KOA Education Foundation is a registered non-governmental organization born out of a communal need to ensure accessibility of every child to Quality Education (SDG 4), as well as sponsoring and providing the learning enablers to gradually illuminate the minds of tomorrow’s leaders.
HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR ACHIEVEMENTS
There has been an appreciable increase in the daily usage of the free public library for all (Primary, Junior and Senior Secondary Schools) and donations (cash and in-kind) to support the work we do at the Free Public Library. Thank you The Oxford Review, Give Back Group Nigeria, Child2Child Book Foundation USA, iRead Network, Learning about Etiquette Book and our anonymous donors. Thank you The Pollination Project for the funding to support the Foundation’s Free Public Library for All Project.
You will recall that this facility began operation in October 2019, and has since been instrumental to the remarkable academic success of the users.
This wouldn’t have been possible without the unflinching support of our generous donors.

We have remained committed to our other numerous education support programmes.
Meeting Back to School Needs
We visit schools to give out Exercise books, textbooks, and socks and pay for new school uniforms for less privileged learners. To date, we have been able to reach out to about 200 pupils.

Sponsor A Child in School
Thus far, we have made a one-time school fees payment for about 30 brilliant but less privileged learners to assist their parents.

Sponsor A Child To School
We currently have 9 beneficiaries of this programme. They are less privileged but brilliant learners who can’t afford to go to/stay in school because their parents are struggling.
We have consistently paid their school fees and provided them with writing materials.
Interestingly, we started with one learner, now we have 9. We also have a list of learners who need help but we currently do not have the means to.

Humanity Through Machine Literacy Program
In partnership with ICT institutions, we have two learners who are been trained on Computer literacy and digital skills.

In July, 2021 we trained over 50 students in Ogun and Kwara on Basic Computer Operations and Microsoft Word

Appreciating 1st Best Pupils in school
We reward academic excellence by gifting textbooks to 1st best pupils in schools. To date, we have rewarded 50 pupils via this program

In the next year…
In the next year, we hope to launch an Annual Book Reading and Spelling competition and Annual Science Project and Mathematics Competition.
Also, we are working assiduously on organizing more educational outreaches in schools and communities.
Thank You
We are overwhelmed by your support and commitment to achieving inclusive and quality education for all.
This re-affirms to us that Nigeria will soon be enlisted among the developed nations of the world because education is one of the most powerful and proven vehicles for sustainable development.
We are open to collaborations and partnership..
We welcome more individuals and corporate bodies to partner with us on this journey to stardom.
