Public Libraries are socially essential anywhere in the world. Imagine a country like Nigeria, a
public library is not only needed in the community but also a necessity for the present and
future of its people. In a country whose large percentage still struggles to get access to decent
and basic education, public libraries fill the divide and gaps that are created by – a lack of
management and lack of maintenance of the institutions it does have. The need for an
accessible space that is safe and empowering with also a vast amount of knowledge to be
accessed is of tremendous requirement.
KOA Education Foundation’s driven commitment to bridge that gaping divide and its relentless effort to stick to its core objectives and missions is the reason why slowly but surely, it is becoming the
embodiment of social intervention. Registration and Visitation are not only highlighted as free
for the likes of it but to encourage people to visit and make use of the space and its resources.

Free and unbiased of any person or group of persons.
The pressure that comes with fulfilling one’s duty right, falls on every one of us. Fortunately for
KOA Education Foundation, its donors have taken most of those pressures and expectations off by not only funding, supplying and supporting its cause but also believing in the reality of what this could mean to
not only the community it serves but also the entire nation at large. Outreach like this
genuinely needs the unlimited support of individuals and or organisations that KOA Education Foundation appears to have a growing source of.
Given the times, access to information and knowledge is a priority-driven cause that KOA Education Foundation has taken a stand on to ensure the vulnerable are not at a disadvantage but rather on an equal
footing with everyone else in a developing nation.
